Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Applicants will be shortlisted based on numbers obtained in 10th class & ITI. The shortlisting applicants will be based on a 70:30 weightage, and a merit list will be created accordingly. Hall tickets will be distributed to the shortlisted candidates in a ratio of 1:5.
- Written Exam: An OMR-based written test exam will consist of 75 multiple choice questions (MCQ). The subjects include Mathematics (30 questions), General Science (30 questions), and General Knowledge (15 questions). No negative marking in the Naval Dockyard Apprentice written test.
- Interview and Document Verification: Candidates who perform well in the written exam will be invited for an walk in interview. The wak in interview will include document verification (DV) and an oral technical test to assess knowledge in the relevent trade.
