Eligibility Criteria

Stipend
Selected candidates for the South Eastern Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024 will be entitled to a stipend in accordance with the rules governing apprenticeships.
Selection Process
- The selection process for this recruitment will be conducted on the basis of a merit list, which will be prepared trade-wise. This merit list will include all the candidates who apply for the respective trades as per the official notification.
- The merit list for each trade will be determined by calculating the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in their Matriculation (Class 10). To qualify for consideration, candidates must have achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their Matriculation. It is important to note that the aggregate percentage will be calculated based on the marks obtained in all subjects included in the candidate’s Matriculation scorecard, and not just specific subjects or groups of subjects.
- Once the merit list is finalized, shortlisted candidates will be invited for the document verification process. The number of candidates invited for document verification will be around 1.5 times the total vacancies available in the respective trades. This step ensures that sufficient candidates are considered, allowing for smooth filling of all notified positions.
